Couple of hours later Xiao Ling’s lashes trembled and fluttered, he shot his eyes open from his sleep blinking his eyes a couple of times to adjust them. Besides him he noticed himself in Yanzhi’s arms, one hand of Yanzhi wrapped around him tight into his (YZ) chest and the other hand which Yanzhi’s head rested in his palm. Xiao Ling titled up his head and took a peek at Yanzhi who had his eyes closed, looking like he was in a deep sleep too. Xiao Ling took the moment of Yanzhi’s unawareness to admire his looks, the structure of Yanzhi’s face which looked like it was chiseled exclusively for him alone. He stretched out his hand sneakily like a thief as his fingers carresed Yanzhi’s face "but i like the real him better" Xiao Ling muttered underneath his breath thinking he wouldn’t be heard.
"You do?" asked Yanzhi in a husky teasing voice smirking. Xiao Ling was startled by the sudden question and tried to retrieve back his hand which was still on Yanzhi’s face. But his hand was quickly grabbed before he could retrieve it completely. Yanzhi brought his hand to his lips and gently placed a soft kiss in Xiao Ling’s palm feeling the softness and tenderness of Xiao Ling’s palm, he turned Xiao Ling’s hand and placed a soft kiss on the back of Xiao Ling’s hand too.
Xaio Ling blushed inexplicably with his swirling pools of eyes fixed on every action of Yanzhi. Yanzhi smirked seeing how red Xiao Ling’s white and tender skin turned bright with blush from his actions, he was very satisfied and enjoyed the reactions Xiao Ling had because of him. "Little wife, you said you preferred the real me better?" Yanzhi asked as he played with Xiao Ling’s hand entwining their fingers together. "....e-en!" Xiao Ling answered shyly. Yanzhi was quiet for a while hearing his reply. "But you’ve only seen the real me once. So how come you prefer the me you’ve only seen once?" Yanzhi asked again. "It’s simple, i want to be real to each other. Never hiding the real us from one another. Xiang gong is the one i choose to spend my eternity with and Xiang gong chooses me too, so why hide ourselves from each other?" Xiao Ling stated in a firm tone looking straight into Yanzhi’s eyes.
Yanzhi stared stunned by his words, never was him expecting such answer from Xiao Ling. He laughed with his eyes smiling brightly and amused. "Xiang gong why laugh?" Xiao Ling asked confused not knowing what he said which was funny. "Your Xiang gong was short sighted. I laughed because little wife taught me something i didn’t know, and i look forward to learning what i do not know from little wife" he answered honestly with his eyes still remained smiling. "Likewise! I also look forward to learning a lot from Xiang gong!" Xiao Ling smiled back brightly saying.
"Gurrrrrrr!" Xiao Ling’s stomach suddenly cried out startling him, he blushed embarrassedly from the unpleasant sound his stomach made. "Little wife, you’re hungry? I’ll have Yue get you something to eat, or do you rather we go down to have dinner in the restaurant?" Yanzhi asked with worry.
"No! I actually plan on cooking myself, it’s been days since we’ve last had fresh cooked food." Xiao Ling got out from under the covers and answered.
"Are you okay with that?" Yanzhi asked, he didn’t really like the idea of Xiao Ling doing such work himself.
