Before noon the ingredients prepared for the opening of the first day ran out leaving only a couple of cold drinks on the menu which could still be provided. After accumulating the day’s income being over ten thousand taels of silvers Xiao Ling was satiated, because after taking out the money invested he still made a lot of profits for the first day and even though there was discount. " " buy servants to train as guards for the restaurant " Xiao Ling nodded after his explanation, he was in favor of Yanzhi’s decision. Thinking about the Jun family coming to cause troubles earlier he thought guards were needed, both him and YanZhi wouldn’t be able to come to the restaurant always. So if there’s trouble the guards would be needed for that, and also even if Yue and the rest could come that would be like them running shift everyday, since they needed to focus on cultivating to advance higher. But that wasn’t the only worries of Yanzhi, to YanZhi Xiao Ling needed servants to help him with his work.... he couldn’t bear to see Xiao Ling tired from doing all the work alone!

The village head and his wife who returned back to the village after Yanzhi and Xiao Ling left the restaurant, were very furious with the Jun family’s shameful action in the county. The village head felt like the Jun had slapped him in the face and disgraced him as the village head of the village. He thought how could he show his faces proudly amongst the heads of other villages, he couldn’t sit still and do nothing about the Jun family’s behavior anymore.
Even though they were raising a scholar in their home it still couldn’t be taken as a reason for them to disgrace him like that. "I’m going to see the Jun family head!" he said to his wife as he turned around and started to walk the way to the Jun family’s house. His wife quickly followed behind "husband I’ll come along" she informed. She was also very furious and disgusted by the Jun family, she thought they shouldn’t be allowed to do things anyhow they wanted anymore.

Jun Xangren who was waiting anxiously in front of the Jun family’s house waiting for his father and the rest to hear the results from going to accuse Yanzhi and Xiao Ling of being unfilial in front of the whole county folks, ran quickly to meet them when he sawing them approaching the house looking annoyed. Father Jun sneered at him when he saw Xangren approached and walked away without saying anything to Xangren, Xangren was baffled when his father gave him an angry look and walked away without saying anything to him.
