Early the next morning, Zhu Lin was woken up by a knock on the door. Xiu Wu stood outside the door and waited for a while, but did not hear any movement in the bedroom. He knocked on the door again and said, "Xiao Lin, are you awake?"
Hearing Xiu Wu’s voice calling her from the outside, Zhu Lin hummed softly and opened her eyes. She rubbed her sore neck, then stood up from the floor and went to open the door.
Xiu Wu looked at her slightly messy hair and said with a smile, "You just woke up? Did you sleep well last night?"
Zhu Lin rubbed her neck a few times, and then circulated the spiritual energy throughout her body. After a few seconds, the pain in her body disappeared. She nodded and said, "Good morning. Do you need anything?"
Hearing her question, Xiu Wu raised his eyebrows. He stared at her for a while and asked, "Xiao Lin, did I do something to make you angry at me?"
Hearing his question, Zhu Lin shook her head and said, "No. Why do you think I’m angry with you?"
Looking at her calm but distant expression, Xiu Wu frowned slightly and said, "I don’t know what I did wrong, but you have been very cold to me since last night. I know I’m very clumsy when it comes to relationships. But if I do something you dislike or make you angry, please tell me directly."
After he said that, Zhu Lin frowned slightly and thought to herself: ’Have I really been cold to him since last night?’
