Chapter 22: Accepting A Mission
Before Xiu Wu could ask Zhu Lin clearly about her hostile behavior towards him, Tan Wei’s voice came from behind.
"Lao Xiu, have you chosen our next mission?" He asked while leading Ji Yang towards the two of them.
Xiu Wu looked at his friend and nodded. He looked at Zhu Lin again and asked, "Do you want to do this mission together?"
Zhu Lin narrowed her eyes at him vigilantly for a while, and asked, "Why do I need to do this mission together with you?"
Asked by her, Xiu Wu also felt a little confused about his sudden decision to carry out a mission with her. As a person who never does things for no reason, he lowered his eyes and thought seriously.
Zhu Lin waited for a while and got no reply, so she said, "Thank you for your invitation, but I cannot accept your invitation."
After finishing speaking, she casually pointed to another mission written in red ink and said, "I will take this mission."
The officer’s eyes widened in surprise when he saw the mission she was referring to. He looked at her and asked, "Miss, are you sure you want to accept this mission?"
"Mhm." Zhu Lin nodded calmly.
