Chapter 16: The Base
The woman looked at the long queue in front of the gate for a few seconds, then turned to look at Zhu Lin and asked, "Miss, you didn’t know about the base but you came here?"
Zhu Lin tilted her head slightly and asked, "Base? Madam, can you tell me about this place called base?"
At first, the woman didn’t want to waste time and energy explaining to Zhu Lin. But when she saw Zhu Lin being so polite to her, the woman said, "This base was built by the government for survivors. If you want to live in the base, you need to register to enter."

The woman sighed and asked, "Did you bring your household registration book with you?"

Seeing her shaking her head, the woman thought to herself that this young lady is really pitiful. She thought for a while and asked, "Where is your identity card? You should have it, right?"
Zhu Lin shook her head again. What kind of identity card can she have? She is a person who accidentally fell into this world, and it is impossible for her to have any identification in this world.
