Chapter 9: There Are Cultivators?
Before long, Tu Tu came back with a pile of firewood. The rabbit looked at its master and found that her complexion had improved. Tu Tu breathed a sigh of relief, and hurriedly built a small bonfire near Zhu Lin to keep her warm.
When Zhu Lin fell into a state of meditation, she was unaware of the passage of time. When she opened her eyes, the bright sun had disappeared, replaced by a round and big red moon hanging in the sky.
She looked around for a moment, before looking down and saw that Tu Tu had fallen asleep on her lap, with its four limbs spread out. Gently rubbing the rabbit’s belly, Zhu Lin looked up at the red moon thoughtfully. As far as she knows, the red moon symbolizes the rise of the Devil God.
After meeting the Devil God today, she began to wonder if it was a coincidence or not that she came to this small world. Just as she was thinking deeply, she heard some faint voices coming from the woods. She hugged Tu Tu, stood up, and walked towards the direction of the sound.
She walked for more than twenty minutes before stopping and hiding behind a tree, and then erased her presence. Not far from where she was hiding, a group of people were fighting a giant snake. Looking at the shiny green metallic color of the giant snake’s scales, Zhu Lin was convinced that the giant snake was poisonous.
Noticing some spiritual energy fluctuations in the air, Zhu Lin’s eyes flickered. She followed the traces of the spiritual energy and found that it came from the three people who fought the giant snake.
’How could there be spiritual energy emitting from them? Could it be... They are cultivators? But... There is no spiritual energy nor divine energy in the air. How can they cultivate?’
