Chapter 96: First Monster Milenia Fight
He asked Aoi to go inside his black shirt. Aoi nodded, obeying Agares’ words. The man pulled out his sword and swung it diagonally twice, forming a cross pattern that struck forward.
The cross pattern exploded and cleared away the magical energy around Milenia. But Agares didn’t stop.
He focused his attention forward and saw that Milenia was still trapped by the effects of her mental and emotional trauma.
Agares reached out his hand to touch Milenia’s shoulder. In just a few seconds, Milenia regained consciousness. Her eyes opened, and she found herself kneeling on the dungeon floor.
"What happened?" Milenia asked.
"Your trauma came back. It almost took over your body and mind," Agares explained.
"My trauma?"
Milenia focused her eyes forward and saw Aoi coming out of Agares’ shirt pocket, walking back onto his shoulder.
The woman tried to stand up while patting her backside, brushing the dust off her dress. Agares stared sharply —even though Milenia had recovered and could control her trauma, he still saw traces of fear and worry on her face.
"Keep holding my hand. Don’t ever try to go off alone," Agares said. Milenia cleared her throat and nodded.
They began their dungeon exploration on floor 66. As far as Agares could remember, the monsters and boss monsters on this floor were minotaurs and mini minotaurs. The type of monster was a beast with fire affinity.
