Chapter 52: Silva and Her Searching Quest
"You should get some rest. The journey from the Red Line to the Capital must’ve been exhausting," said Mireola, the Head of the Magic Hall.
"Alright, Master," Silva replied.
One by one, they walked away from the front courtyard of the Imperial Palace. Silva left with Nana, a priest and also her former classmate.
The four heroes chosen for the Celestial Vanguard were Jonathan, Delvin, Silva, and Nana. The others were Quillen, the assassin, and Nolan, the archer.
Silva occasionally glanced back at the palace. Lately, Jonathan seemed to be getting along well with the royal family.
No one minded that he was getting close to Princess Karina —mainly because Jonathan held the title of Lux Hero.
"This trip really wore me out. I just want to soak in a nice warm bath," Nana said. She wore a white robe and hat, holding a priest’s staff — different from a mage’s staff.
"What about you, Silva?" Nana asked, turning to her.
Silva instinctively looked back at her and smiled with a nod. The fatigue in their bodies could only be eased by relaxing. Silva said she’d head home and enjoy a warm bath there too.
After leaving the Imperial Palace, Silva and Nana went their separate ways. Nana went to the priest’s residential complex in the city, while Silva returned to her own home in the city center — separate from the mage quarters.
The five heads of the knight halls entered the palace, leaving Mireola alone in the courtyard. The Head of the Priest Hall glanced back, clearly noticing Mireola was still staring in the direction Silva had gone.
