Chapter 26: Level Up and Stage
The soldier removed the magic pouch attached to his waist belt and handed it all to Agares. He clearly stated that the looted treasures were stored in the magic pouch.
"Not only me, they also keep their treasures in their magic pouches," explained the man.
Agares opened the magic pouch belonging to the man before him. There were a total of 12 black pouches containing gold coins, and there were many more pouches containing silver and copper coins.
’It seems he wasn’t lying.’
After confirming his words, Agares put the magic pouch away. The soldier in front of Agares felt relieved, confident that Agares would let him live as agreed.

Without warning, Agares broke their agreement by stabbing the soldier in the stomach with his sword. The soldier was shocked, angry, and cursed Agares as a heartless, despicable monster.
"You bastard, Agares. I should have known you wouldn’t keep your word!" the soldier shouted, spitting blood from his mouth onto Agares.
The bloodstain on Agares’ cheek was enough to enrage him. He drew his sword again and aimed the blade at the soldier’s mouth, stabbing him hard enough to pierce through the back of his skull.
"A criminal like you has no right to insult me!"
"Tell me, how many people have you killed in Faircallen Village?"
