Chapter 308 - : 308 : Líng Xīnyíng V/S Nyxion Nightshade! 1
The colosseum fell into a charged silence as the two contestants stepped onto the arena floor for the next duel.
On one side stood Líng Xīnyíng.
She was a vision of elegant Eastern beauty, standing with graceful poise. Her long, silky silver-white hair cascaded down her back like moonlight, framing a delicate yet confident face with striking blue eyes that sparkled with childish excitement. A soft blush colored her cheeks, giving her an almost doll-like innocence. The academy’s crimson-and-gold uniform hugged her voluptuous figure perfectly — the blouse and skirt accentuating her hourglass curves, wide hips, and toned legs. She shifted lightly on her feet, a bright, eager smile playing on her lips as she looked across at her opponent, clearly thrilled for the fight.
Opposite her stood Nyxion Nightshade.
She bounced excitedly on her toes, her golden eyes wide and sparkling with unrestrained joy. Her fluffy black tail swished rapidly behind her, ears perked high. The academy uniform clung to her curvaceous body, highlighting her soft, feminine figure and energetic movements. She looked every bit the playful, childish bundle of excitement — grinning widely, practically vibrating with anticipation as she faced Líng Xīnyíng.
Both girls looked incredibly excited, like children about to play their favorite game.
Líng Xīnyíng tilted her head cutely, silver hair shifting as she beamed. "You look so soft and hot! I hope we can have lots of fun!"
Nyxion giggled, tail wagging faster. "You look pretty too! Heart Lord is watching, so I’m going to try my best! Let’s play!"
The crowd watched the two excited girls with a mix of amusement and anticipation.
From the high gallery, Aiden and his wives observed quietly.
Aiden leaned back slightly, a small smile on his face. "This should be interesting."
Luna clapped her hands softly. "They both look so happy! I hope they have fun!"
Nyxion waved enthusiastically toward the gallery before turning her full attention back to Líng Xīnyíng, bouncing in place.
Líng Xīnyíng gave a playful little curtsy, eyes shining. "Let’s do our best!"
The two girls faced each other with bright, childish excitement, the arena crackling with fresh energy as the duel was about to begin.
The colosseum hummed with anticipation as the two excited girls stood facing each other on the cracked arena floor.
Mira Vale’s calm, professional voice rang out clearly, magically amplified.
"Contestants ready."
Elowen Voss followed immediately, her tone sharp and authoritative.
"Begin!"
Líng Xīnyíng and Nyxion Nightshade moved at the same instant.
Nyxion bounced forward with a happy little laugh, fluffy black tail swishing wildly behind her. Her golden eyes sparkled with pure joy as she closed the distance in a playful leap, claws extending just a few inches from her fingertips with a soft shing.
Líng Xīnyíng met her with graceful confidence. She dropped into a low, fluid stance — knees bent, one hand forward, the other coiled at her hip — the classic opening of her family’s secret dragon-style martial art. Her blue eyes shone with excitement as she smiled brightly.
They collided in the center of the arena.
Nyxion struck first — a quick, playful swipe of her elongated claws aimed at Líng’s shoulder. The claws sliced through the air with a faint metallic whistle, capable of cutting steel.
Líng flowed like water. She spun gracefully, her body twisting in a smooth circle as she deflected the claw strike with the edge of her palm. The movement was elegant yet powerful, reminiscent of a coiling dragon rising from the depths. She followed through with a sweeping low kick, her leg whipping around like a dragon’s tail, forcing Nyxion to hop back with a delighted giggle.
"You’re fast!" Nyxion cheered, landing lightly and immediately bouncing forward again. "Heart Lord would love watching this!"
Líng’s smile widened, blue eyes sparkling. She stepped in with a fluid series of palm strikes — each one precise, flowing seamlessly into the next like a dragon weaving through clouds. "Tell me about him! I saw how he made that seed grow in this huge tree during the second trail. Is he really as amazing as you and his other wives says?"
Nyxion blocked the palm strikes with her forearms, claws scraping lightly against Líng’s wrists. She grinned ear to ear, clearly thrilled to talk about Aiden.
"He’s the best! Heart Lord is so strong and gentle at the same time! He always protects us and makes us feel special. When he kisses us before a fight, it feels like we can do anything!"
Líng’s spun into a spinning back kick, her leg extending in a graceful arc like a dragon’s claw swipe. Nyxion ducked under it and countered with a quick upward claw slash that Líng parried with her forearm.
"He sounds wonderful," Líng said breathlessly, still smiling brightly. "I’ve never met someone who gathers so many strong and beautiful wives around him. Does he really treat everyone equally?"
Nyxion’s golden eyes lit up even more. She lunged forward with a series of rapid claw strikes, each one extending and retracting slightly for maximum reach. "Yes! He does! He never looks down on anyone. Even when nobles are mean, he just smiles and shows them how strong we are together!"wq
The two girls danced across the arena floor in a breathtaking display of hand-to-hand combat. Líng’s dragon-style martial art was fluid and powerful — flowing palm strikes, spinning kicks, and sweeping leg techniques that mimicked a dragon’s movements: coiling, striking, and rising with unstoppable grace. Nyxion countered with raw, joyful energy — her elongated claws slicing through the air, fangs glinting as she grinned, mixing playful dodges with sudden explosive bursts of speed.
They clashed again in the center. Líng delivered a palm strike aimed at Nyxion’s chest. Nyxion crossed her arms, claws extended, and met the blow head-on. The impact sent a visible shockwave rippling outward, cracking the stone beneath their feet.
"You’re really strong!" Líng laughed, eyes shining with genuine admiration. "I can feel your love for him in every move. It’s beautiful!"
Nyxion giggled, fangs flashing as she pushed back and delivered a quick series of claw swipes. "You’re strong too! And you don’t seem like the other nobles at all. You’re actually having fun!"
Líng spun away from the claws and countered with a low sweeping kick that forced Nyxion to leap. "I don’t bother with lineage or status. Strength and heart matter more. That’s what the Dragon God teaches us."
Nyxion landed lightly and immediately bounced forward again, claws slashing in a playful X-pattern. "That’s so cool! Heart Lord says the same thing! He doesn’t care about blood — only about who we are inside!"
The fight continued in a whirlwind of cheerful energy. Every clash was met with bright laughter and excited questions. Líng asked more about Aiden — how he smiles, how he protects his wives, what kind of person he is. Nyxion answered every question with beaming enthusiasm, her tail wagging nonstop.
The crowd watched in stunned silence at first, then began to cheer as the two girls turned the duel into something almost playful. Commoners roared with delight at the friendly, high-level display. Nobles muttered in confusion, unsure how to react to two contestants who were clearly enjoying themselves rather than trying to destroy each other.
Neither fighter was even breathing hard.
Líng’s silver hair flowed gracefully with every fluid dragon-style movement. Nyxion’s fluffy black tail swished happily as she darted in and out with claw strikes and playful lunges. Their smiles never faded.
"You’re not like the other nobles at all," Nyxion said cheerfully as she blocked another palm strike. "You’re actually nice!"
Líng laughed brightly, countering with a spinning kick. "And you’re full of joy! I like that!"
They clashed again — palm against claw, dragon-style grace meeting joyful demonic ferocity — both clearly holding back, both clearly having the time of their lives.
Nobles in the stands shouted with growing frustration, their voices cutting through the cheers.
"Defeat that commoner already!"
"Show the commoner her place!"
"Don’t let a Nightshade whore embarrass us again!"
Líng Xīnyíng and Nyxion both heard the shouts clearly. For a brief moment, their eyes met mid-exchange — Líng’s graceful palm strike meeting Nyxion’s extended claw swipe with a sharp clash.
Líng smiled softly, silver-white hair swaying as she spun into another fluid dragon-style kick. "Let’s ignore them," she said cheerfully, voice light and unbothered. "They’re just loud. This is more fun when it’s just us fighting honestly."
Nyxion’s golden eyes sparkled as she dodged the kick with a happy little hop, her fluffy black tail swishing behind her. "I agree! Heart Lord always says to focus on what matters. Those nobles are just jealous because they can’t have this much fun!"
They clashed again — Nyxion’s claws slicing in a playful X-pattern while Líng flowed around the strikes like a coiling dragon, her palm strikes precise and graceful. Sparks flew where claw met skin, but neither was truly trying to hurt the other. It felt more like an energetic dance than a serious battle.
As they separated for a moment, both breathing lightly and smiling, Líng tilted her head curiously, blue eyes bright.
"By the way... can you introduce me to your husband after this?" she asked, voice full of innocent excitement. "He seems really special. I’d love to meet the person who makes all of you smile like this."
Nyxion’s tail wagged even faster, her grin widening into a beaming, happy expression. "Of course! Heart Lord is the best! I’m sure he’ll like you too. You’re really nice and strong!"
The two girls laughed together and charged once more.
Líng executed a beautiful spinning back kick, her leg whipping around like a dragon’s tail. Nyxion ducked under it and countered with a quick series of claw swipes, her elongated claws whistling through the air. Líng blocked with her forearms, the impact sending a small shockwave across the floor, but she was still smiling.
"You’re really fast!" Líng praised, stepping in with a series of flowing palm strikes that forced Nyxion to weave and dodge playfully.
"And you’re super graceful!" Nyxion replied, giggling as she parried a palm strike with her claws. "It feels like dancing with a real dragon! This is the most fun I’ve had in a fight!"
They continued exchanging blows — claw against palm, graceful spins against bouncy lunges — all while chatting happily between strikes. The nobles’ frustrated shouts faded into background noise as the two girls clearly started forming a genuine friendship right there on the arena floor.
Líng’s blue eyes sparkled with warmth. "I’m glad we got matched together. Even if I lose, I’ll be happy I met someone like you."
Nyxion beamed, fangs glinting. "Me too! Let’s keep playing until one of us can’t anymore. But no hard feelings, okay?"
"Deal!" Líng laughed brightly as she launched another elegant dragon-style combination.
The crowd watched in stunned silence at first, then the commoners began cheering louder — not just for victory, but for the rare sight of two contestants enjoying the fight and treating each other with kindness.
