The morning light filtered softly through the window, casting golden streaks across the worn blankets and tangled limbs.
Aiden stirred first.
Warmth.
That was the first thing he felt—warmth, softness, and the intoxicating scent of Luna’s bare skin against him. Her body was molded into his perfectly, as if sculpted by the gods just to fit him. Her arms wrapped around his waist, her supple breasts pressed firmly against his chest, and her soft thigh thrown over his hips. Every curve of hers, every inch of silky flesh, was intimately draped over him like a second skin.
His breath hitched slightly, not out of surprise, but from the overwhelming sensation of peace.
Luna’s face was nestled beneath his chin, her black, wavy hair cascading across his chest like a silken waterfall. Strands of her hair tickled his skin as her lips—slightly parted in a delicate smile—rested against his collarbone. Aiden gently shifted, only to feel the firm, pillowy press of her breasts bounce slightly with the movement, the contrast of softness and warmth impossible to ignore. Aiden shifted his gaze downward.

Her tail was coiled lazily across their hips like a blanket of fur, twitching lightly with each soft breath she took. Beneath the covers, their naked bodies remained intertwined—skin touching skin, heat melting into heat.
