Chapter 70 - me who depressed
The Blessing Crystal—a mysterious gem that shines above the city of Awakeners. For some unknown reason, within this massive crystal rests a mansion, but only those acknowledged by the Blessing Crystal itself are allowed to live there. Others may reside as well, but only with the designated person’s approval. The moment that approval is revoked, they are expelled immediately without exception.
At the moment, the designated person was walking slowly down a path leading away from the mansion.
"Nick, you bastard of a bitch, I hope you told the truth," she muttered. Her words, like always, carried a harsh tone—one of her most recognizable traits, familiar to everyone who knew her.
As she approached the exit of the crystal layer, it could be identified by two crystalline cliff-shaped towers, out of which two golems manifested.
"Behold, stranger... Oh—ahem—it’s just you, Marian," the two glowing orbs embedded in the golems greeted her. They sparkled like gems, which made sense—they were literally made from a similar material.
"To the first floor... Wait, I never asked this before—but would you be able to transport me to the surface?" Marian asked.
"To the surface? We can. Do you want to go?" the two golem responded in unison.
"Send me," Marian replied.
The two crystalline structures raised their hands, summoning the guiding wind along with their gestures. The wind wrapped around Marian, lifting her away and sending her toward the surface.
