Chapter 37 - the boss
The boss of Section Two, whom Marian introduced, was a gigantic, beastly figure. Although they couldn’t clearly see his face from the distance, they could still grasp that it was incredibly ugly and deformed.
"Is he even human?" Auran asked after observing the figure for a while.
"He’s inhuman. I heard he’s related to orcs, but not completely. Some say he’s a mixed breed between an orc and a minotaur, which gives him monstrous raw strength—even without using mana," Marian explained.
Back in Section Two, once the boss of the field entered the battle, the atmosphere instantly turned into that of a bloody battlefield. He charged forward alone, and despite facing mana blasters and spells, he showed no concern. Following behind him were his most trusted subordinates—and among them was the woman who had once announced the battle area when Auran and Henry fought the slaves.
"Along with his natural strength, he also possesses insanely high mana resistance," Auran observed as Henry nodded from the side.
"Indeed. To take mana blaster strikes head-on—and not just one, but countless strikes... that’s not something a normal being could endure."
"There!"
Suddenly, Octo’s voice rang out as he pointed at the sky. Looking in the direction he indicated, Auran saw a flying ship approaching.
"It’s finally here," he said as he stepped forward and observed the ship drawing closer to the protective shield surrounding the prison. Under his watchful gaze, the ship safely passed through the shield and entered the prison airspace.
