Divine Artifact in a Scientific World

Chapter 177: Tuesday (12)

"So you use new snapshots to keep the simulation on track so it reflects reality?" asked Naoko.

"Yes."

"And you can create simulations from scratch, using a digital file as a guide?"

"Yes."

"And you can include linked templates in the digital file?"

"That’s what Madison was saying."

"Then why not use that to build whatever you want? Link in the raw materials, start the sim, then use computer-generated snapshots to move atoms around until you have what you want. You could build nanites directly, no need for complex chemical reaction chains."

In the back of his mind, a little voice whined, "Why didn’t I think of that?" He ignored it. He was just happy he’d soul bonded Naoko. This idea alone was worth the hassle he suspected he would experience dealing with her father.

If this idea worked, they could use it to bootstrap their nanotech-based fabrication. Make the first nanites that could then be used to make more nanites which could be used to make whatever they wanted.

He didn’t even need to look at Nora to know she was feeling excitement and anticipation.

He walked around the desk and stopped behind Rina. She was so focused on what she was doing that she likely hadn’t heard a word any of them had said.

He put his hands on her shoulders and squeezed gently.
