Chapter 120: Isabella (2)
Nora injected Isabella, then Jack asked, "How long?"
"A few minutes."
Close to an hour and a half had passed in his soul space, while about nine minutes had passed in the outside world. This meant he would only need to wait a few minutes for the Somnusol to wear off this time. Right about when the counter-agent would take effect.
And, with the time acceleration, he could export the changes before the Somnusol wore off in her physical self. So, it should look like she just woke up normal, no screaming and clutching at her chest.
While he waited for Isabella to recover, he and Nora made preparations for the other part of his and Isabella’s plan. Since people outside were expecting an ambulance, they’d make sure one was called.
"Ugh, fuck! Is this what heartburn feels like?" Isabella groaned as she regained consciousness.
She stood from her chair and paced the room, rubbing her chest. "Damn, I’d hate to know what this shit feels like at full dose."
Isabella was an attractive woman with lively brown eyes, wavey black hair and full dark red lips.
Because she’d been sitting the whole time, he didn’t know how tall she was, nor could he see her figure clearly. But when she stood and started pacing, he noted that she was almost as tall as Nora. But her figure was obscured by the baggy prisoner jumpsuit she was wearing.
