Kaden knew the Cerveau had eyes everywhere, so he made sure to remain unseen when entering Waverith with Daela on his back.
Once inside, Zaki went to his own house alone after a tearful moment with Eimi, who couldn’t help but cry as if she were never going to see him again. Even Zaki seemed to want to cry but managed to stop himself by repeating, "I do not cry, I am a respectable man."
A sentence weirdly similar to something Kaden once said.
But regardless, it worked wonders as he didn’t cry... even if his eyes shimmered a little.
All in all... they were clearly exaggerating the situation.
Once Zaki was gone, the trio made their way back to the Warborn estate.

Inside the Warborn meeting room, Garros and Serene sat side by side facing Kaden and Daela, their eyes unable to leave Daela, staring at the state of her body.
They stayed silent for a moment before,
"How was it?" Garros asked, his voice calm, but the space around them cracked violently, distortion lines tearing the air as if reality itself was about to snap apart.
Serene said nothing, yet her void-black eyes devoured everything around her. objects subtly dissolving and disintegrating under her quiet pressure.
