Chapter 97: Seraphiel vs. The Kraken
Silence.
Then—chaos.
Daemon stood in the middle of the battlefield, heart still dripping from his hand, blood smeared across his chest. His horns curved back like a crown of death, his eyes glowing a deeper red than fire itself.
He wasn't Daemon anymore.
He was Seraphiel—Demon King.
And he was hunting.
The nearest mage tried to run. He didn't make it five steps before Seraphiel appeared behind him in a flicker of shadow and tore his spine out through his back.
Another screamed and cast a barrier—Seraphiel walked straight through it, slicing the man in half from head to groin, black aura trailing behind the blade like fire.
BOOM.
A dozen mages attacked together. Lightning. Ice. Fire. Wind.
Seraphiel waved a single hand, and a wave of darkness expanded outward. The magic spells bent mid-air—reversed—and slammed into their own casters, incinerating them where they stood.
