New World with Four Husbands

"Hi." Coco greeted Zaque, shooting him a smile.

Zaque raised an eyebrow, immediately noticing that something was amiss on Coco’s behavior.

"Are you feeling alright? You look a little.. Rattled?" Zaque asked, straightening his back and dropping the dirty cloth to the table, "How are you feeling? How about Sinclair? Did you see him off by the gate? Did you stay outside for too long?"

Slowly, the concern that Zaque pushed down when Coco said that she will be having a quick conversation with Sinclair outside is resurfacing.

There was a worried lilt in Zaque’s voice, but it was gentle enough to not put pressure on Coco.

"I’m good." Coco waved a hand dismissively as she stepped inside the room, "I was just about to go to the second floor. I wanted to clean the rooms that four of you would be staying in, but you caught me on my way out."

"Oh." Zaque blinked, then rolled his shoulders, "Sorry. I thought you wanted to ask something."

"It’s fine." Once again, Coco waved a dismissive hand and tilted her head, "What can I do to help? I want to focus on the rooms if possible.. I know that the four of you are tired from the carriage ride."

Alhai scoffed, the sound echoing in the space. "I think you meant you were tired from the carriage ride."

"Me? No, I’m good." Coco hums, whether she sensed the annoyance in Alhai’s voice or not, she acted like she didn’t catch it, "Well? I don’t want to just stand here and watch the four of you work. Please give me something to do."
