Coco’s expression turned shocked as Jacques spoke, her eyes widening momentarily.
Her surprise was evident in the way her gaze flicked towards Jacques and Renaldo, a mix of surprise and disbelief crossing her face briefly, her grip on Renaldo’s hand tightening lightly.
Coco paused what she was doing, her mind reeling as she processed the revelation.
"Jonathan?" Coco repeated the name Jacques dropped, "As in the Jonathan I introduced to the two of you back in the shop? That Jonathan?"
Jacques raised an eyebrow at her question. "Do you know another mediator named Jonathan?"
"No.."
"Then yes, it’s the exact Jonathan you’re thinking of." Jacques said, smiling beautifully towards her friend, the previous feeling of anxiousness disappearing completely.
She only felt nervous because she doesn’t know how Coco would react to the news, but since Coco was showing promising reactions, then she knows that Coco would not object to their wishes to make Jonathan their new addition.
"Oh." Coco’s eyes darted down to the table, a look of confusion crossing her features.
"What’s wrong?" Renaldo asked, giving Coco’s hand a light squeeze, "If you have something to ask, then say it. How else would we know what you have in mind if you don’t want to speak?"
