"Something is really wrong." Lala whispered, pressing her cheek against Coco’s cheek.
Coco’s hair danced behind her as she moved through the trees like a graceful acrobat, her body moving with effortless ease as she jumped from branch to branch, her movements were fluid and precise, her limbs moving in a way that was almost birdlike.
She darted through the branches, her gaze glued to the floating quest scroll as she weaved through the trees.
Each jump and leap was executed with perfect timing, her feet barely brushing the branches beneath her as she moved with uncanny grace.
"He can hear." Coco mumbled, shifting her eyes away from the scroll to look ahead of her.
Lala was quick to shut her mouth, pressing a hand on her lips, with her eyes wide in fright as she brought her knees to her chest and nuzzled herself closer to Coco’s cheek.
The scroll that has the quest written on it rolled itself, alarming Coco, and another one appeared with a quill appearing with a puff of smoke, floating beside the brown parchment.
Coco stopped on a branch, her eyes glued to the glowing quest scroll in front of her.
Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, crouching low on the branch as she reached out to the scroll, pulling it closer to her face so she could read whatever’s written in it.
Why didn’t I hear the notification go off in my head? Coco asked, her fingers clutching the paper tightly.
