"Golden eyes.. Golden eyes.." The garden had been mumbling nonstop ever since the village chief had revealed that she knew Coco wasn’t Coco Hughes anymore.
On the other hand, Coco remained seated and introduced herself properly to the chief.
"I see.. Coco Coison, was it?" Chief Salamandara hummed out, staring at the paper before her as she read the written name on it, a reading glasses perched on the bridge of her nose.
"So? What are your plans after taking over that body? Kingdom domination?" The tone the village chief used was lighthearted, but Coco can’t tell if she was joking or not.
"No." Coco denied and shook her head, "I was put in this body because it’s very similar to mine, but no, I’m not alcohol nor abusive nor a trash! I’m far from Coco Hughes and a very civilized one— I think.."
Coco mumbled the last two words under her breath, not fully trusting herself to be very civilized because she had resorted to violence not too long ago.
"If you’re not after kingdom domination or something like that.. Then, what are you doing? What are you trying to achieve?" The village chief raised an eyebrow and shifted her attention from the paper to Coco.
"Well, first of all, I’m trying to change Coco Hughes’ husbands’ thoughts about me. They think that I’m lying." Coco said, scratching the back of her head.
Strangely enough, her senses are not telling her to run away from the village chief after she revealed that she has a special ability, rather, she felt much safer and relaxed than earlier.
