Chapter 100: Sincere apology [3]
Coco watched with fascination as the mediator moved around the kitchen, busily preparing something in the oven.
His movements were precise and practiced, his hands moving with a smooth grace as he moved from one task to the next.
Strangely, there was something almost mesmerizing about the way Zaque moved, the movement of his body around the kitchen almost hypnotic as he cooked.
It has always been that way.
Coco remembered how she would sit down at the dining table as she watched her big sister and mother move around the kitchen, cooking whatever they had in mind so all of them could eat.
She loves to watch people cook and bake, mesmerized at the sight of them getting lost in the task at hand.
Hence why Coco watched the man intently, her eyes fixed on his movements as he moved about the kitchen, his movements were quick, each step of the baking process seemingly second nature to him.
Despite his seemingly detached demeanor, Coco couldn’t pinpoint what made Zaque look hypnotizing— something was almost eye-catching about the way he worked, his hands moving with an almost dance-like precision.
Coco found herself transfixed by his work, her mind blank as she watched him move around the kitchen, creating something delicious and beautiful under his hands.
