Chapter 55: Proud of yourself
Coco smiled fondly at the fairy’s enthusiasm and could only shake her head, "Of course, whatever makes Lala happy."
The fairy smiled and giggled, "Whatever makes Coco will always make me happy!"
"Really?" Coco asked, humming out the question as she finished picking the last bit of the dragon fruit, then, she picked up the bag and walked towards the next tree— a small tree which is full of ripe, round, and juicy dark colored berries, grapes.
Well.. Grapes are woody perennial vines so it’s not really a tree, but that’s how I see it right now. Coco thought, correcting her description of the violet berries in front of her.
"Really!" The garden fairy said, tapping her small hands against Coco’s forehead as she lay on her stomach above her human friend’s head, her legs swaying behind her as she giggled, "If you want me to grow vines all around the village then I would not hesitate to do so."
"Haha.." Coco laughed nervously and continued picking the fruit from the vines, carefully plucking them off and putting them inside the bag, "That’s really nice of you, Lala, but I’m sure I won’t ask you to grow vines any time soon."
Coco felt Lala shift, as if she was shrugging her shoulders, and tapped her forehead again before saying, "It was just a scenario, Coco."
From the way you said it, Lala.. No, I honestly don’t think so. Coco thought to herself, her hand continuing her work until she plucked the last grape from the vine.
"I’m done." She announced, crouching down by the bag, taking off her robe and placing the grapes on her removed piece of clothing, "You can remove the trees now, Lala, I just have to wrap these dragon fruit then we can go."
