Chapter 49: Magia Pierre
"Mr. Tani!" Coco called out, her eyes trained on the pink haired man who was about to walk inside the Red Horse Inn. Joachim stopped on his tracks abruptly when he heard Coco’s voice and immediately turned around to greet her. A rich and resourceful patron should be treated and serviced with their best to keep her in their business, right?
"Coco!" Joachim beamed at her, his eyes landing on her running form with forced enthusiasm.
As soon as Coco approached him, she let go of Zaque’s wrist and grabbed Joachim’s shoulders, a serious and tense look on her face replaced the cheerful and excited one she previously had.
"I have a very important question and your answer will change drastically because it depends on it." Coco stated, her grip on his shoulders loosening slightly, minding her own strength and felt a little afraid of hurting him.
Joachim blinked, his eyebrows furrowed as he nodded his head with reluctance, "Okay.. What is it?"
"Does Mrs. Tani really sells magic stones?" Coco asked, the tone of her voice flat and grave, as if someone was about to die.
"Of course? She’s a merchant, Coco." Joachim said with a deadpan expression on his face, "You can check her shop if you want. There are a few magic stones out on the display."
"So, magic stones do really exist!" Coco exclaimed, letting go of Joachim and taking a step back, "Where’s the shop? Where can I find it?"
