Chapter 12: Stay the night
Coco was utterly shocked that the woman she wanted to befriend turned out to be the fourth husband! She felt her soul leaving her body after processing the information.
Too shaken at what she found out, she stood there, dumbfounded. Lala flew in front of her face and waved her hand to snap her human friend out of her shock.
It was futile though, but she didn't give up and continued calling out to her, "Coco! Hello? Coco! Cooocoo!"
Zaque kept smiling as he watched the fairy wake Coco from her daydreaming.
She didn't show any sign of moving so he had to drag her inside of the house and left her in the dining table— to let her deal with her own unresponsive state.
"I wonder what happened." Zaque stated as he observed Coco's soulless feature— just staring into a distance.
Quiren didn't say anything, but sat down in front of Coco.
Zaque gave him a cup of water and he gladly drank the water to moisten his vocal chords. As he was drinking, he noticed the fairy flying in front of his wife's face, looking worried and saying something.
He couldn't help, but choke on his drink. Midnight black eyes wide as he stare at the fairy, thinking if his eyes are playing tricks on him?
