Chapter 10: Bathing
"That hits the spot~" Coco moaned in delight, her muscles relaxing as she sank further down the calm stream of the river.
She asked Lala to grow aloe vera by the shade of the orange tree and picked out the largest one since she knows that there's no skin care product at this time and generation from what she could tell.
She will use the aloe vera later to smoothen her skin as a start, but for now, she needs to wash out the grime and dirt from her skin. She heard from Zaque that the market has soap, but she's sure that its quality is as low as she can think of.
That's where aloe vera comes in! She thought proudly and brushed her nose as if she did something amazing.
While taking a bath, she cleaned her clothes. She used her tattered shirt to scrub her skin to get the dirt out. It wouldn't do much, but it will do for now. She haven't bought anything from the market yet because she gave everything she earned from selling the fruits to Zaque.
I could have taken some, but I don't know how money works in this world. Coco thought somberly as she continued to scrub her skin, the dirt and grime mixing with the stream, washing her body tension away along with them.
Once she's done washing herself, she got off the river and dressed herself. She doesn't care if her clothes are still dripping wet, she only scrubbed it to take off the grimes and lessen the bad smell. She picked up the orange peels of the oranges she had eaten earlier and scrubbed those on her clothes to make the citrus scent stronger.
She took her time fixing her appearance, spreading aloe vera on her skin and letting it dry naturally. She swung her arms in the air to let the aloe vera dry faster, walking around and doing circle motions in the air like an idiot.
She double checked her face and arms if it's dry before going back to work. She pulled all the fresh and ripe fruits from the tree and placed them in the basket.
