Chapter 6: Coco Hughes
Was it foolish for an overachiever to wish to reach the top and be higher than everyone else to not get hurt? Was it foolish for Coco to achieve what she wanted? Was it foolish for someone like Coco to drink away her sorrow and pain, but neglect her spouses? Was it foolish for Coco Hughes to burn her family's money to the village's bar and bring debt under her name?
YES, IT'S FREAKING FOOLISH! Coco roared in her mind as she seethed in anger due to Coco's idiotism and stupidity. How can someone be so depressed, waste away their life when they have people to feed?! Coco Hughes was dumb and naive! How did she manage to marry her spouses when she's that useless?!
"You big dumb, useless asshat!" Coco punched her pillow and accidentally created a hole, her fist going through it and punching the bed instead which broke under the impact of her punch. That only caused for a prominent vein pop on her forehead, fueling her anger.
"Aghhh!! This is so frustrating!" She screeched and stood up from the bed.
Now that she recalled the past Coco's memories. She wants to strangle herself to death because she's useless, good-for-nothing, drunkard, and a bastard. Imagine trapping four people into a marriage to yourself just because their parents couldn't pay off their debt to her! Imagine!
Coco Hughes is known in their village as a drunkard and a piece of turd. Trappings not one, not two, not three, but four people in a marriage with her! Not to mention, Coco threatened the first and second spouses when it comes to spending!
Coco had beaten the third spouse that he looked like he was begging to be killed instead of staying alive! She had been heartless and merciless when it comes to her spouses, rendering them scared of her and taking a lot of responsibilities instead of her.
They were the ones who did their best to earn money even if they can't be employed, only to have Coco Hughes take that money and spend it to get herself knocked out by some expensive booze that is sold by the pub down the village.
The head of the house, Coco Hughes, was notoriously known for her temper and issues around the village. She often gets into fight and get herself beaten, if she ever did win a fight, she'll just order another batch of booze to celebrate her win.
This behavior of hers had her spouses in trouble. It almost has gotten them sell their body just to pay the growing debt under their wife's name. Actually, scratch that, Coco did want to sell her spouses' bodies because they refused her multiple times.
They didn't want anyone touching their bodies and due to Coco's usual temperament, the first and third spouses had got themselves fighting back against her.
The third spouse, Alhai, had fought back incredibly hard the last time and made Coco mad. She ended up beating him until his skin is filled with black and purple bruises, unable to stand and cry out for help.
