Chapter 1851 - 1850: Tricking Qi'er
The impact from Shariel and the others had absolutely no effect; aside from being bounced back by the light circle, it had no other effect at all.
Below the city wall, the masked man merely watched them coldly, showing no intention to make a move, nor any sign of worry. It seemed this masked man knew very well that they couldn't break through the light circle and consequently had nothing to fear.
After toiling for a while and seeing that it was to no avail, Shariel spoke again. He tried various threats and inducements, but still achieved nothing; the masked man inside, aside from looking at him disdainfully, showed no other reaction.
Su Yang gazed at the masked man, feeling somewhat surprised. This masked man looked at them as if he were a mighty Heavenly God watching a group of ants below him; no matter how Shariel's people struggled, they couldn't affect him in the slightest.
Keep in mind, Shariel and his people are considered quite powerful among the Land Immortals. Yet, that masked man completely ignored them—a large group of Land Immortals—how terrifying must this masked man's power truly be?
Su Yang didn't attempt to communicate further with the masked man. He realized that neither his identity as a member of the Human Clan nor the Feather Clan could stir the masked man's interest. Shariel had tried various methods, to no avail, so the result would be the same for him. Hence, he simply decided not to waste any more energy.
Taking a deep breath, Su Yang looked at the Three Eagles of Yanbei nearby and whispered, "This time, we are in a rather troublesome situation. If none of you want to be enslaved by them, follow me in a hard fight. If we manage to break out, then we'll have a chance of survival!"
The crowd exchanged glances. By now, everyone realized they really had no choice left.
Becoming slaves to those people was definitely not an option; they would rather die than be driven by others. Thus, the only option left was to fight!
"Su Alliance Leader, we'll do as you say!" One eagle gritted his teeth and said, "If we can't escape, we'll fight them. Killing one is worth it; killing two is a gain!"
Others nodded, sharing the same sentiment.
Su Yang took a deep breath, glanced at Qi'er beside him, and whispered, "Qi'er, soon you go first into the Feather Spirit Palace!"
Qi'er being able to enter the Feather Spirit Palace is an advantage. Once she's inside, Shariel and his people have no way to deal with her.
Of course, Su Yang had no idea how the masked man inside would react, but now wasn't the time to consider that in depth. If Qi'er stayed outside, she'd definitely be captured by Shariel and his men, with a perilous outcome. Yet once inside the Feather Spirit Palace, there might be a chance of survival!
With the masked man's strength being so formidable, surely he wouldn't harm someone as gentle as Qi'er, right?
Qi'er, however, was unwilling; she clutched Su Yang's arm and whispered, "I'm not leaving, Brother Su. If there's danger, we face it together. I'm not going!"
Su Yang sighed; Qi'er's personality was stubborn like this. If faced with danger and wanting to persuade her to leave, it would be truly difficult.
"I'm not asking you to flee…" Su Yang held Qi'er's hand and whispered, "I want you to go in and find reinforcements."
"What?" Qi'er was stunned; where could she possibly go to find reinforcements now?
"We have the Little Turtle here; it can hold on for a while. Once inside, you might find the Little Chick and Little Grey Bird. Combined, three Divine Beasts might handle these people!" Su Yang whispered, "Qi'er, you can freely pass through the light barrier; that's crucial. Once inside, you will surely find the Little Chick and Little Grey Bird!"
Su Yang was actually deceiving Qi'er; whether the Little Chick and Little Grey Bird were inside the Feather Spirit Palace was uncertain. Sending her inside to find them was no different than seeking a needle in a haystack. But at least this way, Qi'er could enter the Feather Spirit Palace and avoid this immediate peril.
As for the risks inside the Feather Spirit Palace, the Three Eagles of Yanbei had been inside before and mentioned that it wasn't very dangerous. Inside, the main issue was getting lost; it's hard to find the way out, but few meet their end there.
Once Qi'er entered, she might well get lost, but at least her life would be secure.
Su Yang had no other choice now; he could only try his best to keep Qi'er safe. As for breaking out in front of these people, honestly, the odds were exceedingly slim.

Nodding vigorously, Qi'er abruptly turned around and dashed into the light circle.

Recovering his senses, Shariel roared angrily, "Don't let her get away! Su Yang, bring her back now, or I'll kill all of you!"
Su Yang completely ignored him, shouting loudly, "Qi'er, hurry into the Feather Spirit Palace!"
"Bring her back!" Shariel shouted, as his men surged forward, beginning to besiege Su Yang and the others.
Meanwhile, some of his people rushed to the spot where Qi'er had just passed, attempting to enter from there. However, the result was the same: they were bounced back again.
