Chapter 36- Thalia’s Escape
Location: Hotel Lustre Paradise, Hero City
The balcony door clicked shut behind her. A crisp gust swept through the second-floor room of Hotel Lustre, tugging at the pale curtains as if they, too, wanted to escape.
"Aagh! Damn you, Cruxius!" Thalia hissed, yanking the silky drapes off their rod like a woman possessed. "You maniacal, perverted-brained, ego-dripping son of a—"
Rage bubbled in her chest, and the image of him—smirking, shirt half-unbuttoned, firmly ordering the guards to bring her into this hotel for a bath as if she were some prisoner—only poured gasoline on it. His voice echoed in her mind: // You’ll have to take a bath; I can’t love a stinky pig. Follow those guards and wait inside the hotel room....as I would love it if you gift me a surprise small bath together. //
"Oh, yes, why not," she muttered sarcastically, twisting the fabric into a makeshift rope. "Stinky pig? Your mother is a stinky pig!"

"Kurgh!—oww, sorry Aunty, your son is just a bastard." While tying the makeshift rope out of the curtain and standing on the stool, her body stumbled back, falling directly on her hip.
With the sting of pain, she slowly got up, rubbing her butt while realizing that she shouldn’t insult someone’s parent.
From just outside the door, muffled voices of the guards drifted up, their footsteps indicating that they were on high alert.
