"S-Sir!?" The CEO of one of the subsidiary companies under the Blac Corporation rushed toward Cruxius after seeing him punch the dean of the hospital.
Considering the presence of so many individuals—even with Cruxius holding such a powerful position—this could spark rumors.
Some were even recording, which might paint him as an evil man.
However, the real issue was that the dean had done the CEO a few favors in the past. Nothing major, but enough for him to instinctively stretch out a hand, hoping to shield the man from harm.
"His son tried to poison the heir of the Blac family, and he was offering money to silence the case... and you're taking his side?" Cruxius snapped.
The people recording would likely throw this on social media, turning him into a 'rich, spoiled brat' picking on an old man—at least in the eyes of people whose voices held no actual weight.
Just fools behind a screen, vomiting their hatred through their fingers. Not out of courage, not even out of fear—but because they'd made it a habit.
Cry for a day, rage until the trend dies, and then move on to the next.
And this CEO was one of those idiotic people shielding the dean, which clearly meant that he had received some favors from this dean.
Indirectly showing the local influence of Alvian had a real impact here.
It is enough to tie the hands of the CEO of such a big corporation, even if it is just a subsidiary company.
