"If you want to laugh, then laugh. Why are you trying to hide it?" Yu Jingting asked, balancing a spin without forgetting to watch his wife. Upon seeing her blushing and trying to hide her face in his embrace to muffle her giggles, he teased further.
"I’m not laughing," Suizi denied, but her lips were twitching, clearly trying to suppress a smile.
Okay, she admitted defeat.
She was genuinely happy to have a man like him by her side.
"Ah, the young people today are so sweet. Seeing them makes me want to bring my wife here to skate, too. Pity, I’m not good at it." The driver remarked, his face beaming with admiration from the sidelines.
Chen Lijun’s expression changed from surprise to worry, fearing that Yu Jingting might loosen his grip and drop Suizi, turning her into a roasted sweet potato.
But as she watched Yu Jingting glide effortlessly and Suizi’s contented laughter, her worries turned into relief.
