Fan Huang led the applause, and the rest of the crowd quickly followed suit, leading to a round of applause.
Yu Jingting waved his hand and the stage sound system resumed. The stage drum rhythms rolled in once again and a performer came up to keep up the performance. Everything that had just happened seemed like an illusion.
"Through the forests and over the snow!" Yu Jingting began to sing. His articulation was spot on, evoking cheers from the audience.
Suizi led the children to Chen Lijun’s table, and Chen Lijun turned her head to ask her.
"When did Jingting get this talent?"
"He learned it during school, while participating in art festivals. Your son-in-law was quite the star when he was in school – a student council president and an art backbone. Every time there’s a performance, he would grab a suona and get up there."
