All the New Year’s dishes need to be prepared in the morning of the eve of New Year because no one can cook for the next few days at home.

"He and his dad have gone out to buy firecrackers, don’t be mad at him. It was me who told him to turn it off. You’ve been busy all year, it’s time you took some rest,"
Wang Cuihua chattered with Suizi about everyday matters.
"Suizi, do you think we should get a cat? I’m always worried that the medicinal herbs in our storeroom will be nibbled by rats."
Wang Cuihua was somewhat scared of rats, recently she always felt that there were rats in the house, always hearing slight noises in the middle of the night.
Suizi thought to herself that her son is the biggest rat of all.
