"I really don’t get it, what’s he’s so arrogant about? He just got where he is by living off of his wife. Without Chen Hansui’s family, he would’ve lost his position as Factory Director a long time ago!"
Wang Mengmeng’s voice came out sharply from the front, full of resentment.
"Mengmeng, watch what you’re saying." Xiaozhang’s voice was much lower.
Wang Mengmeng had just been kicked out by Yu Jingting.
She had just been talking to Shen’s father and feeling good about knowing a leader. Because of this, she hung around Suizi’s office, hoping to overhear what Yu Jingting and Shen’s father were talking about.
With his temper, there was no way Yu Jingting would put up with her. He directly threw her out, which infuriated Wang Mengmeng.
She pulled Xiaozhang, her colleague, to a secluded place to vent.
Xiaozhang looked distressed as she was not really interested in such matters and didn’t want to offend anyone.
But Wang Mengmeng was just like a big victim, needing someone to vent to.
"What’s there to be afraid of? He did rise to this position by living off his wife. Without Chen Hansui, could he even move into the city? Without her powerful stepfather, could he still hold the position of Factory Director at the beer factory?"
"Who told you that?" Xiaozhang asked.
