Chapter 496: I’m just playing you for fun
The workshop where the ice creams were made didn’t smell as good as Suizi had imagined.
The air was filled with an overly sweet artificial scent which was a bit irritating.
The hygiene conditions were decent. Probably because of an inspection from superiors, all the workers were wearing white boots, sitting at their stations making ice cream.
Their meticulous manner was reminiscent of students’ performances during a public class.
As Suizi toured with the inspection group, she just needed to observe a few workers’ hands to get a grasp of the situation.
Liangyin’s approach to hiring people was ruthless. She did have some strength when it came to management. The hands of her workers were all bandaged due to the abrasions from long-term mechanical operation of placing ice cream sticks.
Suizi marveled that Liangyin indeed had the nature to be a capitalist. It was just a pity that she was too young and love-stricken.
If she had solidly built her business without competing unfairly with Yu Jingting, with her personal capabilities and family background, it would have been very difficult for Yu Jingting, who was just starting out, to win.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Jingting, noticing Suizi was lost in her thoughts.
"I’m reflecting on myself by observing others."
Although Suizi felt it was a pity that Liangyin was love-stricken, she honestly wondered - if she was in the same situation as Liangyin and faced a man as charming as Yu Jingting, could she have done better than Liangyin?
