Chapter 34 Don’t Let Anything Pass
In her previous life, Luo Erya saved Suizi. For Suizi, Erya was even more important than her own sister.
Luo Erya didn’t have any education and was not yet eighteen. She was wandering around the Talent Market.
When she bumped into Suizi, who was hiring, Erya’s hometown accent attracted Suizi. To her surprise, they were from the same village.
Because they were from the same area, Suizi took on Erya even though it was against the norms. Erya was hardworking, quiet, and deeply loyal to Suizi; Suizi’s right-hand man.
When local hoodlums caused trouble at the door, Erya took a knife for Suizi. When Suizi’s financial turnover had problems and the debt collector came to demand, Erya threatened to cut off her finger to pay the debt, scaring the debt collector away.
Erya has a business talent no less than Suizi’s, but due to Suizi’s kindness towards her, she never went out on her own, following Suizi wholeheartedly. Suizi treated her as if she was her sister.
Once, Erya got drunk and Suizi asked her why she left her hometown. Erya’s answer left Suizi uncomfortable for a long time.
She was abused as a child. Dragged into a cornfield.
The people in her hometown looked at her differently. Wherever she went, people insulted her, even her father told her to die. She couldn’t stay there anymore nor did she have the heart to die, so she ran away from home and begged her way all the way to the outskirts of a town.
If Suizi hadn’t taken her in, she might have ended up in a hair salon, becoming the kind of woman who does everything but wash hair.
Because of Suizi’s kindness, she remained particularly good to Suizi, shielding Suizi with her body during dangerous times. This was because Suizi gave her a new life.
