Chapter 389: The Gate Break
Diane and the others watched the situation from the top floor classroom.
They couldn’t believe such a thing was going on.
The monsters had started to pour out of the gates like insects, and though most people had been evacuated out of the premises, and the awakeneds were standing in positions, ready to take on the monsters, there were not enough people to take on the flood of monsters coming out of the gate.
A minimum of seven mages who had been present at the sports event had set up barriers to prevent the monsters from stepping out of the field while a full-scale evacuation was going on everywhere around the school, but it did not look like they could hold them still for long.
"It’s suddenly a danger zone," Diane mumbled. "The monsters look very strong."
From the blue gates came forth weak monsters like kobolds, three-eyed red wolves, and blood goblins which were far more notorious and ’red’ than Normal green goblins.
But from the orange gate... Ah, there was an ogre towering 20 feet tall with a mass that one person could not handle. It couldn’t be taken on by the average awakened, but it was not the same for the S-class.
The ogre wasn’t alone. There were others behind it but because of the barrier, they could not make it out.
But it wasn’t like they were going to stand patiently till the one in front broke the barrier. They pushed with all their might while the one in front raised its huge baton and struck the barrier.
