Chapter 366: Well, did you at least get the results you were hoping to get?
They got to school, and thanks to the brainwashing skills of one of her classmates, the students didn’t have their curious eyes on her.
It was as if what had happened the previous day had never happened.
Alice happily ate her jerky as she made her way to her class, went to the back seat, and sat down.
"Ah, I’m in such a good mood." She exclaimed.
"Why? Did something good happen?" Damian, who was already seated, asked with a smile, but when Alice looked at him, she almost fell backward in her chair.
"Yeah, but... Why do you have such dark eye bags?" She asked and he smiled.
Under the eyes of this confusingly handsome face were dark eye bags.
"Did you not get any sleep?" She asked him, adjusting her seat but he laughed nervously while scratching the back of his head.
"Well, I did stay up late. I was just going to stay up a few hours but I... I ended up overdoing it and stayed up to 5."
"Whoa, really?" She looked at him surprised. "What were you doing that was more important than getting a good night’s sleep? Were you perhaps saving the world or something?" She asked but he shook his head.
He had sweat dripping down the corner of his face as he was embarrassed to say he had been training all night.
