Chapter 344: A pushover
Leo looked at it and then laughed. No one would believe that her dainty arms were far stronger than any macho man out there.
"Are you relieved now?" He asked and she nodded.
"Yeah, I feel better now." She asked. "And I don’t want to kill Elizabeth either," she said, her eyes coldly and dangerously fixed on Elizabeth. "She can live with the way she is now. I think I’ve given her enough reasons to bow her head whenever I walk past her now."
"See? It’s crucial to use your brain." Leo said, tapping on her head and she rolled her eyes. "Death is far too lenient. Let her live in shame."
Just then, Damian got back carrying a bunch of snacks he got from the snacks store. The cafeteria wasn’t done cooking so there was no food.
So, he settled for getting these snacks and hoped Alice would at least feel a little bit better.
But by the time he got back, he found Alice laughing with Leo. Guess she had gotten over it.
And it looked like Leo was the only one who could cheer her up with minimal effort.
It saddened him for some reason. He couldn’t do anything worthwhile to help her. Not even a word of comfort. Maybe he should’ve bad-mouthed Elizabeth with Alice.
But that might’ve made her even more annoyed recalling those insults and she’d try to kill her once more. That’d be on him.
He sighed. What exactly was he good at?
