Chapter 275: Oh, I would really like to be your friend though
Amira’s eyes widened.
"You killed our guild master?" She asked and Alice let out a tired sigh.
"Look, it was nothing personal." she darted her eyes away. "Sorta." She cleared her throat. "Anyway, she had already gone crazy and the red bulging veins were all over her body. We both know she’s always scantily dressed, so just imagine so many fat red veins all over her body while she mindlessly attacked me."
"But this doesn’t make sense." Amira yelled. "Why would she take something like that to get stronger when she’s already an S-class? Are you making this up?"
"Let me remind you," Alice said with a cold tone, and her eyes sharply piercing through Amira’s heart. "Your guild master was there when I came out of the calamity gate, and instead of helping or trying to understand what the situation was, she was hell emt on getting me restrained. I don’t know what reason she had, but she was ready to come at me, so I slapped her down. Now, imagine someone of her status being slapped down by a complete nobody, what do you think she would feel?"
"She would have every reason to want to get stronger and get her revenge. But unfortunately, she wasn’t exactly the patient type who wanted to rely on her own strength." Noah said and Alice snapped her fingers.
"And that is exactly what happened." Alice said. "Though, I have no idea if she already had the miracle potion for a long time since the effects, as stated, only show once you try to use the full power of the potion. She couldn’t beat me so she tried to draw more strength from the potion."
"And how was she not able to beat the likes of you? Who do you think you are trying to put yourself on such a high pedestal?" Amira flared at her and they shot glares at her.
Amira felt so small under their glares. So small that she wanted to hide under a hole.
