"Hey, how did you get here?" Alice asked, looking at Leo suspiciously.
"I simply pinched your jacket as soon as I sensed he was going to use his powers." Leo simply explained as he looked round to realize they were on the path very close to the school. And then, he turned to Devon. "I’d have disappeared if you had gone far without me."
"Ah, so sorry for that. I did not take that into consideration." He said and bowed his head in apology. "I didn’t mean any harm."
"Well, nothing happened. So, what is it you wanted to talk about?" Alice asked. "You’ve got less than a minute to start explaining if you don’t want Miss Stella to start hunting for your head." She sarcastically remarked, and Devon smiled nervously.
Of course the Miss Stella he knew was more than capable of that feat.
"My younger brother means the world to me." He started and Alice nodded.
"I believe we got that fact clear from hearing your story." Alice said. "So, just get to the point."
"Right. My brother is an awakened."
