Leo decided he might’ve been a bit immature, having such thoughts, so he cast them aside, smiled, and said,
"Alright, I’ll stop. Nothing’s going to change if I think of them anyway. So, let’s forget I had useless thoughts for a minute."
Alice nodded.
"Alright, let’s..." Leo grabbed her hand, stopping her in her tracks.
"Ah, we’re not done yet." He said, looking at her with a scary expression on his face that she couldn’t help but wonder what sort of evil he was cooking up in that kind of his.
Alice and Leo soon walked down the stairs and Devon, who had been sitting patiently in the living room, spotted them.
Ah, his eyes couldn’t have seen an angel, could it?
Alice looked so...normal. It wasn’t an insult, honestly. She just didn’t look like herself, and the light touch of makeup on her face, alongside her hairstyle and the dress she was wearing, gave her the halo of an angel.
"You said this was okay, right?" Alice asked, while they walked down and Leo nodded.
"Most definitely. A light touch of makeup wouldn’t kill anyone." He said, smiling at her but she couldn’t agree with that. This so-called light touch of makeup was making her feel conscious of her face.
She hated makeup to begin with. Why did she go ahead with Leo’s suggestion to have her face powdered and her lips tainted pink?
