Chapter 178: He has dangerous feelings for her
Leo sat next to Alice nevertheless, and just as a kid who would easily forget a grudge, she easily forgot whatever she felt bad about and taunted Leo for not being able to consume food.
"Oh, what’s that? You want a taste?" She drew closer to him, showing her ear, and then snickered. "Ha! But too bad you can’t have any cause you don’t have a digestive system."
She laughed out and enjoyed her meal. Leo wasn’t offended. Rather, he dropped his elbow on the table, rested his chin on his arms, and watched her with a smile.
"Yes, yes, I can’t eat any of your food. So, enjoy it to the fullest." He said, and Alice laughed more, feeling victorious.
Mark and Devon watched them. Mark squeezed his hand underneath the table. Just watching how Leo could smile so freely at Alice and not get suspected of having ulterior motives... Knowing they slept in the same bed together... Ah, he had to contain his feelings.
They were growing. Growing so much that he just couldn’t stop himself from feeling jealous.
Leo subtly glanced at Mark and said through his telepathy,
*You’re the one who’s overthinking things.* He said. *If you want to shower her with affection, no one is stopping you. It’s because you feel you don’t do it out of sincerity but out of the feelings you hold towards her; that’s what’s holding you back.*
Leo looked away from him.
