Chapter 175: He was warm
Leo would not stop all of Alice’s potential love interests if they made advances to her. After all, he could only blame feelings of the past crawling into their hearts without their knowledge.
So, he wouldn’t interfere. But that was only to the extent of making advances and trying to win her over. As for casting lustful eyes on her, he would not tolerate it.
Alice may not care. Sbe might be able to stand in front of a thousand guys naked and yawn at the fact but he would not accept it. Since she didn’t know how to love her body and keep it away from prying eyes, he would be her shield.
’I have a feeling Lilith did something.’ Leo thought as he watched Alice sleeping. She had eaten to her fill and thanked Mark, even though he was in his room, before going to bed and slumping like a log.
She tapped the other side of the bed and said to Leo,
"Come, come. Now that you have a physical form, you’re gonna be my body pillow." He palmed his face, knowing Alice had once again found an undignified use for him.
But he did not complain. He also wanted to sleep next to her.
Each time, he was just watching as a mirage as she slept and told himself she looked the cutest when asleep. She was calm and quiet when she slept, compared to how she created chaos when she was awake.
Now, he was finally sleeping next to her. Her legs were over his body, and her head was on his chest as she snoozed calmly.
This kind of close contact, he didn’t mind it and didn’t feel much about it but the fact that his heart raced each time they had this sort of body contact still remained.
’It’s the heat.’ he thought. ’I’m still not used to body heat. Even as a celestial being, I don’t think I had body heat. The body of a human is so strange.’
