"But..." Alice suddenly said, interrupting his conviction to give up. "If you’re just looking for a kiss and nothing more, I don’t think I’d mind. That is... If that’s all you’re looking for. I won’t stand for it if you suddenly say we’re getting married just because of one kiss. I’ll beat the crap out of you if you do." She said with serious eyes that searched his plain mask as if trying to find a hint as to what he was thinking or what kind of expression he was having on his face. "Nothing else? Then I’m game."

Alice had a motive.

She didn’t care about lip-locking. She did that a lot in the past when she was still a kid, free and happy. But it was with stuffed animals, that is.

But then one day, she kissed an actual boy.

She was 7 and while one of the male kids picked up a frog, attempting to scare the other girls, she pushed him. She shoved him by the shoulder, but her attempt was not completely successful since she ended up falling with him, and their lips locked.

The kids teased them for the whole season because of that. And while it helped, since the boy no longer messed with other girls or anyone for that matter because he was still embarrassed, Alice was not left out of the embarrassment.

To cut the long story short. She did not see kissing as a big deal. She only got embarrassed about it. If anything, it was just like touching a piece of flesh with another piece of flesh.

So, if that was what Micheal wanted, then she was ready to go for it... As long as he took off his mask.

To kiss her, he would have to take off his mask, right?

So, then all her questions would be answered. She didn’t know why it bothered her but this level of curiosity was not healthy.

She would take a glimpse. Just one glimpse while they locked lips and then her mind would finally fall at ease.
