Chapter 148: Alice’s inner conflict
Alice let out one last pant, calming herself.
"I’m fine. I’m fine. You can put me down now." She said, brushing her fingers through her hair as she sighed.
"Alright."
Micheal slowly lowered her to the ground, not the one she had destroyed but the other side, and she sat on the floor, folding her legs and arms. She let out yet another heavy sigh and looked up at them.
But she wasn’t looking at them. She was looking past them at the reddened sky a few miles away. She could feel the monstrous and ominous energy coming from it. She could feel that something big was coming from it.
She peered into the scene with her third eye. The gate was getting bigger, and the lightning cracks around it were spreading around the area.
Just what kind of monster was it?
She faced the eclipse dragon that came out of it. But it looked like another big monster was going to fly out. A monster strengthened by demon blood. One far superior to the eclipse dragon.
A monster that could destroy the city in seconds.
And of course, Humans were not strong enough to defeat it. She... Would have to go there in person.
Alice scratched her head, annoyed and agitated.
