Chapter 122: I couldn’t save her

Alice was surprised.

She stared at her other self, who held on to Diane’s body tightly, loudly weeping and cussing out at the system for coming too late.

Alice gritted her teeth.
Though she did not see exactly what happened and how Diane ended up taking a knife in her chest, she knew that Diane was set to have a tragic death from the start. It was like the order that was meant to be followed and it was meant to help Alice fulfill the conditions of being awakened.
