Chapter 114: Ah, you’re such a cool grampa
"Gramps?" Alice called, surprised. What was he doing there?
Adolf raised his hand and gestured for her to come over. She glanced at the reporters and then walked away from them, releasing the pressure she had on them.
"Hmph!"
They felt they could finally breathe. What just happened?
They were so scared that they lost track of things.
"Gramps," Alice called quite excitedly and Adolf glanced at the sleeping grifflet in her arm. How did it manage to sleep through the pressure Alice was releasing?
Even from where he stood, he could feel the pressure and it was quite... Dangerous.
But he stared at the face of the girl who had released that dangerous pressure and all he could see was a childlike plainness, smiling as she let go of her anger.
"How are you, child?" He asked and she nodded,
"Well, I’ve been running here and there, killing monsters and staying out of trouble... I think," she brushed the back of her neck, remembering that the council was aware of her little stunt with Big Stach. "But all in all, I can say I’ve been fine."
"Thank you once again." He said and she wondered why he was thanking her. "You saved our lives yet again." He said. "And... Those guys might be stone-headed," he said, glancing at the reporters who were keeping a distance. "...but they don’t mean to get you mad."
