Chapter 80: Fifty-two humans remaining
In a dark, desolate plane where bodies were stacked at every corner, human bodies and the sky were dyed red and black.
The moon? There was none. The sun? Nowhere to be found.
The dark and red clouds had filled the sky for as long as she could remember. She picked up a torch stick, lit it on fire, and started dropping the fire in every heap around, one by one, till they had all caught on fire.
This girl watched the burning bodies and sighed. It was a hard decision but it was better to burn them than let them get savaged by the monsters.
She threw the burning torch aside and walked away, tucking her hands in her pocket with her giant hammer resting on her back.
The lonely and dark desolate land used to be filled with people and buildings. It used to be filled with so much hustle and bustle.
"All in the day’s work," she heard a familiar voice and raised her head to find a tanned lady with rough pigtails, wearing ragged clothes like they were in the stone ages, waiting for her up ahead, and She nodded.
When there was nothing but survival in one’s mind, they wouldn’t even bother about their clothes anymore.
She bet they would eventually end up naked, fighting monsters.
