Chapter 30 -: 30, Two Fated Beings
"Y-You..." Gura muttered under her breath, her voice shook with horror seeing that familiar face return. "Young master Grom? What happened to you?" The woman beside Gura asked with puzzlement.
"H-How are you still a-alive?!" Guras heart was filled with dread as she remembered what they did to him.
Back on the 6th floor, she had deliberately seduced him to act and framed him of sexually assaulting her. ’Why?’, because she wanted the pendant relic that was given to him.
As a result, he died through being eaten alive by the rats. She was afraid to see such a horrifying scene so they all went to the boss room without confirming his death.
Gura never imagined even in her dreams to see that face again, alive at that.
The black figure with the scent of rotting flesh stared at them within the black flames that were at the place of his eyes. His body was a mix of flesh from different species with rat, goblin, slime and wolf skins on different parts of his body.
Eventually, a grotesque voice rang in the narrow path, its tone was icy and cold as Grom said, "So... you’re still alive?" He then looked behind her, saying with what sounded like relief in his voice, "That guy is still not here. Good for me..."
A shrill scream rang in the narrow path as Gura turned to see the woman beside her screaming in extreme pain that tears flowed from her eyes.
